error renaming a file in Bridge

Question

I have just had a problem with my PC (now running W11....it was W10 until changed to W11 to try to resolve the problem). Eventually my PC was reset resulting in all apps including PS and Bridge being reinstalled. It turned out to be a corrupted hard drive, which couldn't be resolved / repaired, so have had a new drive installed. Now when I try ro rename a file in Bridge, I get the error message: "invalid type conversion". I have never had this problem before. I have tried resetting Bridge preferences, as suggested by web searches, but this has not helped. This renaming problem only occurrs in Bridge.

Can anyone help please.

I have this problem with Bridge 2025, and sure hope it isn't a corrupted drive. I went to Bridge.exe and clicked "run as an administrator", but the problem persists. Does anyone else have this problem? Never had this issue previously in previous editions of Bridge.
