I have updated to Bridge 2020 today. When I connect an external hard drive or SD card reader they appear grayed out and I can't open the files. I was alway able to do this in old Bridge. I can't view my photos anymore. Please help. How do I get round this. I use MacBook Pro.

Hi All,

Sorry that the External storage devices are showing grayed out in Bridge 2020.

Let us try to isolate what might be causing the issue. We'd need some more details to better diagnose it.

Could you all please let us know the operating system you're working on? Were you able to get past the using the Get Photos from Camera"(Camera symbol) as suggested below?

Thanks,

Akash

Hi Akash,

See reply above.

I have found the remedy. There is a new icon at the top "Get Photos from Camera"(Camera symbol). That sorts it. Thank you for your reply.

Can I suggest you delete Bridge 2020 and reboot and then reinstall.

Something appears to be corrupted.
