FEATURE REQUEST - Add the ability to sort by LENGTH

Why is it in the content panel I can view and sort content by standard options, date modified etc but there is no option to view or sort by length ????

I mean ... surely that should be one of the main ones. Is there no way to do this at all ?

Bridge is only a document viewer. It does not open, read, study, or do anything with the documents.

Bridge can only display the same things that one can see in Explorer or the Finder. If there was some data that could show that in either Explorer or the Finder, there'd be an option to view that in Bridge, but since there is not, then that option is again not in Bridge.

If you're viewing these files in, say, Premier Pro, then yes, you could see the lengths.

I suppose one option you could do would be to check the length of these files in Premier Pro and then manually add that to the keywording in Bridge.

Clip length is a standard viewing/sorting option in both Explorer and Finder so I am not sure what you're driving at there.

As Bridge is intended to help view, sort and move files between and into Adobe media software .. length of clips, both video and audio is HIGHLY releveant. Being as it displays literally every other aspect of a media clip, length would be very obvious to me.

My apologies, you are correct.

I was looking into the Metadata-Exif data and it doesn't have an option there for video length.

Best I can suggest is that you request it here:

https://adobebridge.uservoice.com/

That way, the engineers will see it and be able to add it to their list of features to add.

Best (and again, sorry I missed that),
