Getting two versions of Bridge on one Mac

I have Bridge 2020, version 10.1.1 on my Macbook Air running Mojave. I would like to download and install the latest version of Bridge without overwriting the version I have, so that I can be sure I am happy with the new version.

When I go to Creative Cloud - All Apps - Bridge 2020 is listed and against it it says 'Update'. I don't see any option to keep this version and no link to the newest version.

Please can I have some guidance on this, thanks.

Hi, @CRuthy4, Unfortunately, your operating system (Mojave), is too old to run the latest Adobe "Anything That is Current," let alone Bridge.

You might be able to get the latest Bridge installed with Mac OS 11 (Big Sur), but since Apple has just released Sonoma, that might mean you'd have to update to OS 12 (Monterey). FWIW, Monterey is the recommended minimum OS by Adobe.

Anyhow, this is why you can't see the latest options. I could say that this is an evil plot between software and hardware vendors to constantly be updating your software and hardware, but it's no plot; it is both business and customers wanting the latest and greatest.

Good luck

Thank you gary_sc, yes, I think I will have to try to upgrade to Monterey. will probably need Apple's help to do that. Thank you.

Hi, @CRuthy4, glad you understand. There's not much anyone can do about it; it is what it is.
