Got new laptop... now Adobe Bridge is opening photoshop when I click on an image.. HELP

This is destroying my workflow

I got a new laptop, installed bridge/photoshop and now when I go to view my photos in bridge, as soon as I click on one it opens in photoshop, so I'm having to close photoshop every 20 seconds!

My Windows 10 mouse settings are set to DOUBLE CLICK but single click is working in bridge and I've tried viewing the option menu to fix and I cannot find an option to fix!

this is killing my workflow

please help
