Having Trouble Saving Metadata For Video Clips

I updated to the latest version of Bridge today and I'm trying to add metadata (headline, description and keywords) to my video clips but when I click the checkmark and wait until it saves, I come back around to the same click and find the information gone. 

Also when selecting multiple clips at once and applying the same metadata to them it saves even less. I had to add the data around 3 times for the first few clips in my queue for them to stick around.

Any ideas why this might be happening? How can we speed up this process and not have to wait after clicking on the checkmark to save..
