HEIC images previews blur / low resolution in Bridge

In Bridge, when I press the space-bar to see the full-res preview, my HEIC images are blur / low-res. I am running 14.1.2.300 on an up to date Win 11, My HEIF extension is correctly installed and all other tools have correct support for HEIC files.

What should I do to view HEIC files in full-res in Bridge?

Note: I have seen that many people reported the same issues, but could not see any resolution other than "check that your HEIF extension is correctly installed, which it is on my system.

And interestingly, after installing Bridge Beta 15.0.0.393, the older Bridge 14.1.2.300 becomes able to show hi-res HEIC images. ... weird...
