Help selecting next thumbnail via script

Hi All

I'm trying to find a way to change the selection in the content pane from the current thumbnail to the next thumbnail. I've had a look through the bridge referance and guide but couldn't find any clues. Does anyone know if this is possible and how I might go about it?
