    Correct answer Erik Bloodaxe

Bridge was not designed to work with networks. Some users have managed to get Bridge working with network drives but that is by luck not design. It may work some of the time but there is no guarantee. This issue has been the subject of many posts on this forum which you may discover if you carry out a search.

    Hi,

please accept my apologies; the issue always seems to boil down to the fact that they—Adobe—claim the software wasn't designed for use on servers. That may well be true. But in which market segment do they actually position their products? In agencies—for teams working collaboratively within a network environment. I heard something similar regarding InDesign back when issues with linked files were cropping up.
But never mind. Unfortunately, that’s just the way it is.

The reason I’m posting here is that I’m actually dealing with a similar problem myself, and this thread was linked to me.

It was seeing the network folders before I moved house, but it was a wired network 🤷‍♂️
