How do delte images from a folder and have them save to an archive folder?

I used to for 15 years, just delete, and scoop up images from Imac trash, and save to a "delted/ archive" folder.

Now Bridge has the unique bug, that  when one deletes, they don't arrive in Trash, They vanish from the earth.

It bizarre, but Adobe's sadism, never surprises.

Any workaround for this thanks?

No fix that I'm aware of. Closest (but slightly slower) option I'd have would be to use the Reject label - then scoop things out of the Reject filter.

When you put files in the Trash, expect them to be gone. Its ALWAYS worked that way for files on a server.

I'd copy them to an archive folder before you delete them.

There is no server, don't know why people keep bringing up irrelevant things like that.

I just a guy at home with normal external hardrives.

I delete from Bridge, those images used to go to Trash right away, like all software does normally.. well, now I think show up there delayed, the next day.

Weirdest bug/ glitch ever seen in a software.

Sounds like either a system problem or some other software you have running. And we bring up things like servers because 1. we don't know what you are working with and 2. it may help someone else who has a problem.
