Question

How does Adobe Bridge work (type of Cache system)?

I can think of 4 statuses for the Cache system in Bridge:

  1. No Cache.
  2. The older cache system for a single computer, lets call it a SingleCache system..
  3. The new SharedCache system, aimed at a multiuser system with a central cache but obviously also used on a single computer.
  4. A combination of SingleCache and SharedCache on the same computer.

It seems that Bridge itself decides which system or combination of Caches that is used.

I have got on my single PC computer the combination: Both SingleCache and SharedCache.

Shall I accept that Bridge has done the best choice of Cache system or could I force Bridge to drop the SharedCache and use only the SingleCache system?

I have a single PC and

have got  .bridgeSharedCache folders in at least 16 folders to a size of 25.6 GB.

Is that not SharedCache?
