How to preview office documents in the Bridge

It seems office documents can't be previewed in Adobe Bridge. But I think it's a rigid demand for a lot of people. Compared with Bridge, Windows Explorer is so craptastic. Why not Adobe let us preview these documents in Bridge?

Over fives years later and no movement has been made towards this. I understand why they don't want to let us preview, saya CorelDraw file. They want you to use Illustrator. The is no Adobe version of Word. One would think on a Windows desktop where viewing Microsoft documents is built into the OS file explorer that Bridge should be able to piggyback off that. I would even settle for a bridge plug-in.

Bridge is an image viewer for standard formats, not a viewer for proprietary office documents.
