How to: STOP opening JPG straigt into PS from Bridge but use Windows Photos?

So, I have been racking my brains on this one for a couple of hours now...I need help...probably.

I have been using Bridge but not PS for some time. I just installed PS and this happened:

When I double click a jpg, it opens STRAIGT into PS. Probably as it should do, BUT I dont want THAT to happen. I want it to open STRAIGHT into Microsoft Photos App. I find it easier to just open it seperately if I need to give a picture a once over and go back into Bridge and have the photo still open on my taskbar.

AFTER installing PS, the file association is changed to PS...BUT I cant change it back. The Photos App isnt show. I cant find the app eaisly either. And when I finally find the app deep deep in a weird named folder within Program Files.....the image wont open and I get no error message.

Its probably a Windows problem and that the app is within some protected folder and its for my own good. But this is my problem now, I want it fixed.

I uninstalled PS and resdet the all file association. There I noticed that jpgs are associated with "None". So I guess Windows defaults back to its settings and opens the JPG as if I was just inside File Explorer when I clicked it.

BUT once PS is installed, I cant set "None" for the file association.....

So am I mad and need help? Or can anyone help me with this peculiar issue?

Cheers

Unless someone knows better, as far as I am aware The Microsoft Photos app is not a single executable file in a standard location but rather a UWP (Universal Windows Platform) app. Therefore it is not accessible to Bridge using File Type Associations, even when browsing for executables. May I ask why you wish to invoke this app from Bridge when Bridge itself is is a most useful and comprehensive file browser?
