HI,

my problem is that i I can`t eject SD / CF Cards in Bridge or even with the finder.

The Problem starts with Bridge 9. I use since that photo mecanic for my news jobs, but i hate it.

When i quit Bridge (10.1.1166) , i can eject the CD / CF card, but this is BS. Is there a solution ?

Best regards

Frank

I also have this problem. Even if I click on a different drive to deselect the SD card. Even if I then close all the bridge windows and open a new one. It will not eject using the command from within Bridge. If I go to the finder and attempt to eject I get this message window.

I am forced to quit Bridge to eject my SD card. Very frustrating and it really appears to be a glitch in Bridge.

Hi Frank,

If you have images from the card being displayed in Bridge, you cannot eject the card because the card is "in use."

Have you tried transferring the images you wish to examine to a folder in your computer and then ejecting the card? That way Bridge is looking at the images on your computer, not on the card.

I do not copy any files.

- card in

- favorits - computer - sd / cf card

- selecting files - one star

- open in PS

- editing in PS

- safe under new name

- back to Bridge

- mark as edited - two stars

- deselect

- back to favorits

- select card - command e (or eject via mouse)

nothing happened until i close Brige. Finder don`t help.

Well, that's my point and then some.

When you have Bridge looking at the images and PS having worked on the images, the images are "in use." You cannot eject media when files on it are in use by an application.

Open up Word or something. Create a new file and place that file on a flash drive or external hard drive.

Now, while the file is open in Word, try to eject the disk.

Admittedly, some applications ARE better at this than others, see if you can close the document and try to eject. Now quit the application and then eject.

This is an OS thing, not Bridge or PS.
