Question

I can't preview TIFFs in Bridge with these last updated

Is this going to be fixed anytime soon? The work around is resaving all files to JPGs or PSDs and is a waste of time and rather not do.

Hi Mike,

This is not normal behavior, I can't think of any reason for this to happen.

What is your OS (and what release)?

What version of Bridge are you using (and what release)?

What version of ACR (Adobe Camera Raw are you using (and what release)?

I gather this happens anytime you open ANY folder that has a tif image(s) in it?

Does it make a difference where the folder is located (on your computer, on an external drive)?

Thanks for any info.

I'm using a MacBook Pro with MacOS Big Sur 11.2.1, Bridge 11.0.1.109,
CameraRaw 10.5.0.1001. This happens within every folder local or on the
network or dropbox in Bridge plus when opening them Photoshop 22.2.0 it
wants to open them as if they were Raw Files but they are TIFFs. This is
something new within the last update of the Creative Suite and/or MacOS. I
haven't changed my workflow nor preferences so I'm not sure why this is
happening.
