Question

I had Bridge Beta Installed, but it would not allow Photoshop to do an image process function.

Bridge 23 doesn't work either.  I also can not see previews in Bridge - totally a work flow killer.. Fix it back to the way it was for the last 15 years please!

I belive what you're experiencing is a bug in the beta copy of Photoshop that has the gen-fills.

To fix the issue, you need to uninstall the most recent Release version of PS 2023, not the beta), and then reinstall it.

That should take care of things, good luck.

Bridge 2023 allows the image processing, but it does not display the previews - when I look in the File Explorer directory, it show 3- 4 different sub-directories in my main project external hard drive (where I load my raw files)  The subdirectories contain the thumbnails of different sizes but they do not diosplay in the preview panel.  Just put the cache bak the way it used to be!

I have a desicgnated location on an internal SSD drive where I store the cache and had the data instead of side car files prior to the unrequested Adobe changes to the forced side car file operations.  I would rather the info be placed into one database where the informaton would be stored for every photo I ever edited - in one place with no need to always have the millions of side car files!  Such a waste of space and eye sight!
