I updated Bridge 11.1 yesterday, and I lost the camera raw option to open files. I had to go back to the old version. How do I fix this?

Hi Meeco20,

Assuming you have an image selected, what happens if you right-click on a raw file (or jpg or tif with no extra layers), do you see the option to Open in Camera Raw? Do you see the Open in Camera Raw icon (just to the left of the rotate anti-clockwise), is it grayed out or black (or white on dark background).

If you drag the raw file onto PS, does it start up with ACR?

There have been times when due to an installer glitch, something was not right and it needed "some extra push."

If this continues, download a fresh copy from here, reinstall, and try again. Let us know.

I re-updated Bridge 11.1, and camera raw  works for now except 3D as:

I will research some more about this. I hope it won't go over my head

Thank you

Your video card no longer supports Hardware acceleration features embedded in Camera Raw.

You would need to update your video card.

What operating system? What happens when you try to open a file in ACR? Does it work from Photoshop? Have you updated to the most recent version of ACR?

Thank you for your reply! I use Windows 10 desktop, ACR ver 13.3. Yes, It does work if I open the file in Photoshop and then select Camera Raw filter. What are the uses of the new Bridge 11.1? that I am missing?
