I will have Photoshop Elements without CC, can I still get bridge without CC?

I am purchasing Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026, 3 year version without CC.   I used to have bridge, but need to update it in order to use it.   I would like just free bridge to work without having to pay for a subscription or having to go thru CC.   I only use it to manage my photo files and access.   It use to be the best at this.   It use to be free.

So can I still get bridge free without having to go thru CC?

Hi @Jill Borden, you can download Bridge for free (all you need is an Adobe ID) and use it.

HOWEVER, unless things have change for some 10 years or so, and I doubt it, if you take raw images with your camera, you will not have access to Acobe Camera Raw in Bridge. There is scripting behind the scenes that you have no access to that will not let you use ACR. This is what Elements Organizer is for.

If you want to use Bridge with ACR you will need to subscribe to one of the Photoshop Programs. Here you can see the list. Please note what’s included in each program. If you have any questions, please ask.

Yes, it’s more expensive than Photoshop Elements, but it is what it is. A Mercedes Benz is more expensive than a Toyota Carola.

I’m sorry, I know that’s not what you want to hear.

Regardless, to download Adobe Bridge, you WILL need to have an Adobe CC account. with that, you can click into the available applcations and (keep on scrolling), when you find Bridge, download it. No charge is requried, just like downloading Acrobat Reader. You can also do a search for it.

Let me know how it works out.

Hi, @Jill Borden, to my knowledge, Bridge is still free, you only need to have a free Adobe account.

    Have you tried that?

Please let me know what happens

Welp, I’ve got photoshop elements 2026 loaded and working on my iMac.   now trying to figure out how to get bridge loaded or whatever.   Do you know, can I shut off CC once I have it loaded.   I don’t want nor need nor use CC.   And do you know how to download or upload the bridge app.   I have my account open and my photoshop elements loaded now why do I do.   Sorry, I’m just frustrated with things being so convoluted anymore.   Thanks for your help .   surely nice to be able to get some help.
