Question

Image is flickering problem in Bridge

I'm having this issue when I'm using Bridge to cull my images. I've noticed that some flicker and others don't, but haven't been able to pinpoint a direct cause. When I import them into Lightroom or even Photoshop, the flickering stops which leads me to believe it is an issue with Bridge. Has anyone else come across a similar issue or even suggestions on what to troubleshoot?

Its called a monitors refresh rate.

File size can effect it.

Video drivers not being up to date.

Insufficent system resources.

Bridge is displaying a jpeg thumbnail image where LR and PS is loading the full image into their respective programs and using thier own system cache,

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the image flickering issue in Bridge. Would you mind telling us which version of Bridge you're on along with the operating system you're working on?

Could you try going into Bridge's Preferences > Advanced menu and enable Software rendering, let us know if that helps with the flickering problem?

If that doesn't resolve the problem, then try resetting the preferences of Bridge back to default settings and let us know how it goes: https://tinyurl.com/xmd2r54a
