ImportCamera_BR.jsx will not load

Not sure what you're asking.

It won't point towards any storage device unless you manually set it to do so by configuring the sources.

Naming conventions are saved only if you click the save button in the renaming template dialog.

Well, in my case it doesn't seem to point to the removable storage at all, even though the device shows up in "my computer."

Also, are the naming conventions saved at all (i.e. 2005-06-14_IMG_5563.cr2)?

We do not store settings between bridge sessions. We do allow you to configure sources. If you configure a source to point to a card slot, every time the script loads it will check the slot. If a card is mounted, it will show in the sources.

We also allow you to save renaming templates.

It's not much compared with all the settings, but it helps.

I have a follow up question. I got the ImportCamera utility to work a couple days ago, but now when I go back to the utility, all my settings are gone. What happened, and how can I prevent this in the future?

I am just using Photoshop CS2, no suite. I have just found it under the "Tools" menu. The 4 section under Photo Illo InDesign.

What's in your startupscripts folder?

Along with other stuff, it should contain:

AdobeLibrary1.jsx
AdobeLibrary2.jsx
AdobeLibrary3.jsx

It might contain
AdobeScriptManager.jsx (if you have the full suite)

If so, ImportCamera_BR.jsx belongs in a subfolder of your startupscripts
/StartupScripts/Workflow Automation Scripts

If it doesn't have AdobeScriptManager.jsx

ImportCamera_BR.jsx belongs in your startupscripts folder.
