Importing Tagging from Lightroom

Usually, I guess, people are look for ways to make their photo organising and editing more sophisticated and capable. However, I am just looking to make things simpler.  I have been using PS-CC and LR-CC for a while, but am coming to terms with the realisation that I am just a very average amateur photographer, and that my creative efforts really do not justify the monthly expense of keeping  Creative Cloud going on my PC, wonderful though it is.
My questions therefore are: “If I give up the Creative Cloud and just use Bridge to organize my photo collection can Bridge import the tagging that I have already done in Lightroom?
If so, could it make a similar job of sorting my photos for me?  For example, would it be able to list all my photos that I have tagged as “France 2010” and then within that group isolate just the photos tagged with the name “George”?

I am using Windows 10.

You will need to export out your Lr keywords: Metadata > Export Keywords

Then in Bridge, use the Keywords panel menu to Import

You may also wish to look into your Bridge Preferences > Keywords too.

P.S.: If you don’t have access to Lr anymore to export out the keywords:

Prepression: Bridge – Restoring a Lost Keyword XML File

Try this:

Re: How do I import star ratings from Lightroom to Bridge

Bridge Doesn't Automatically Detect Keyword Changes from Lightroom

You have to specifically write the metadata to the actual files (not just into the catalogue) for Bridge to pick them up.

Thank you Stephen.  I thought your answer had solved my problem, but on closer examination I find it hasn’t quite done it.
I have done, I think, what was suggested in the first link you provided and was delighted to see all my Lightroom Keywords show up in Bridge.  What I hadn’t noticed is that the Keywords were not showing up in the Bridge Keyword Panel, but in the Filters Panel, and simply as a list, not arranged as they had been in a hierarchy.  The Keywords Panel shows a few Pre-installed suggestions like Places/New York etc, in normal type, and a very few on my keywords from Lightroom in italics.

Is there a way to recover the structure of the Keywords, and get them to appear and work effectively in the Bridge/Keywords Panel?
