Incessant Bridge Freeze (App Unusable)

Experienced with both Bridge CC 2018 and (post update) CC 2019.  The application is unusable on a well provisioned and fully updated Win10 PC.  Freeze on start.  Freeze on about any action (if it eventually unfreezes post startup.)  I have no idea who did testing on this, but it wouldn't get out of dev for the apps I've had experience with.
