InDesign Contact Sheet Tool not available in Bridge and InDesign CS4

Dear all,

I'm using the great InDesign Contact Sheet function in Bridge and InDesign CS3 a lot.
But now after updating to the Adobe Design Premium Suite CS4 this function doesn't appear in Bridge CS4 anymore! Under Bridge Menu Tools it is not available.

Hope anyone can help!
Thank you,

Holger

I hope that the contact sheet creator for CS4 will come swiftly. I have more that 200 images for a book that I'm managing. The contact sheet script makes it easy to put title, description, photographer info into InDesign (and then is usable, editable text). This makes the process of writing captions seamless for the editor. Sadly, I have the slimmed down version of CS3 InDesign/Bridge which doesn't have the contact sheet functionality.

Thank you Bob.

Where exactly can I find and download the script in a few weeks.

BTW I wonder that Adobe discontinued a tool like that, because there is no alternative method to create contact sheets with all those metadata included on your own template design!

Thanks again for your help.

The 1.4b4 and later versions of ContactSheetX handle metadata in templates
fairly well. But it requires Photoshop as there is no InDesign port. Since the
CSX UI is implemented on ScriptUI, porting it is actually not an unreasonable idea.

Adobe discontinued the workflow automation scripts for CS4.

I am planning on releasing an update for CS4 in a few weeks.
