Question

Is Bridge obsolete software? Does it protect my creations and ensure legal compliance?

Hi,

A new European directive mandates the identification of images created or retouched using AI, requiring this information to be specified within the file—likely in the XMP data. I am currently trying to publish AVIF and WebP files online, but I cannot specify this information in the IPTC Extension field. I would also like to point out that the XMP data generated by Bridge for more traditional digital creations references obsolete URLs, such as: https://cv.iptc.org/newscodes/digitalsourcetype/softwareImage It would be greatly appreciated if you could update Bridge so that I can work properly and remain legally compliant. Resources for your services: https://cv.iptc.org/newscodes/digitalsourcetype/

Regards.

I can't even force the use of the XML I manually corrected in Notepad: Photoshop now displays all fields as blank for my PSD (File > File Info)!

I should also clarify that, when exporting images for the web, I want to include the data within the file itself—not in a sidecar file.
