Is it possible to rename metadata fields?

I'm trying to add metadata to videos for CQ5. We don't have any use for the DICOM fields but it would be great if I could just rename the field title in Bridge and then carry that data over to CQ5. I guess I could try adding new fields but it seems like it would just be easier to rename an exsisting field.
