Is it true? no metadata/keywords for mxf files?
At one point i really thought i found my dream software to centralize all my video assets.
But im really dissapointed actually.
Adobe claims to be the industry standard in broadcast land. However there is no way to add metadata/keywords to those files (mxf, r3d,.) Which makes the whole application just a another file explorer. I dont get it. I don't really care about the technological explaination behind it, it's 2020 now. In premiere you can add all kinds of keywords to any clip. How is this even called ''bridge''? i dont see any connection. This broadcast-standard claim already doesn't add up. I hope i'm missing something..?
premiere plays r3d files, after effects plays r3d files, encoder plays r3d files, rush plays r3d files. i think even audition plays it. bridge doesn't. im just talking about playing back r3d files now. Adobe has great resources when it comes to handling all kinds of high-end video standards. Someone at Adobe should connect the bridge people with the premiere people.
