Is there a way to change Bridge's default audio cache location?

Question

Using Bridge to help sort and categorise large quantity of files mainly videos mp4's.

The only issue I have is that Bridge creates audio cache files on boot drive (Adobe/Common/Media Cache Files), it seems to ignore preferences to located them on seperate drive.

Is there a way to specify an external drive for video audio cache (.cfa) files?

Bridge preferences seems only to allow thumbnail cache location.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi All,

We have released a new version of Adobe Bridge (CC 2019) on 15th October 2018. The new version build number is 9.0.0.204. This version is available to install via Adobe Creative Cloud application.

This Bridge update contains support for managing media cache files (https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/media-cache.html).

You may need to update the Creative Cloud application and restart your computer to see the updated installer.

Interestingly each time I edit the rating of a video file in Bridge, there is a creates a new .cfa file.

Really hope there is a way to change the audio cache location in Bridge, not looking forward to rating/sorting video files outside of Bridge.
