Issue with D810 and Photo Downloader

I've seen that in the past the D810 had issues  with NEF files being read in Camera Raw and Lightroom, but nothing recent.  I just got my D810 a few days ago and have noticed something weird when using photo downloader.  Some files, maybe 5%, will successfully get converted to DNG while the rest stay as NEF.  Adobe Camera Raw is able to open and edit the NEF but I'm just wondering why it isn't converting everything.  My camera is at the current firmware and all my programs for CC have been updated.

    Hi michaelwillethefirst,

    As I understand that you are trying to convert raw images into dng and some of the files are not converting. Please select the leftover raw images only in second selection, open them in ACR and save them in dng. Let us know if it gives you any error.
