JPEG XL instead of TIF?

Hello everyone,

in the latest Bridge when I open raw file in Camera Raw and want to export the file with the .TIF ending, the file format switches for JPEG XL... and it does not work the other way around neither – when I pick the TIFF format the ending switches for .PSD  – why is it happening? 

I am asking because I was happy with this way of exporting the tif files because of its possibilities to customize the size of exported file (especially the one of setting limit of megapixels). Maybe there is also other way that I do not know about and will be super happy for sharing!

Could you share the following details about the issue:

  • Bridge and Camera Raw version
  • System configuration
  • Is the issue specific to particular files/format?

Please share the sample file/files on which you are observing the issue at sharewithbr@adobe.com
Also can you share the screen recording of the steps which led you to this issue.
