Keyboard shortcuts for rating have changed

With the latest Bridge update, I see that the keyboard rating method now required me to hold the command key (Mac OS) and then a number 1 to 5.  Previously it was simply just the number.  Seems simple, but my habit is strong and this is a nuisance.  How can I set it to just require the numeral keys?  Thanks.

I made a video showing how to do this. It might be helpful,

Sorry, those instructions are nothing what the screen looks like.

Hmm, you said you have the latest Bridge. This is EXACTLY how it looks on my computer. Can you please share a screenshot of how your Keyboard Shortcuts look?

We are talking about what you see when you go to the Edit menu and scroll down to Keyboard Shortcuts.

I figured out what you meant by empty space.  I was able to assign simple number keystrokes, like in the video here, but it still doesn’t work.

Thanks.  I did exactly that and it doesn’t work.  My panel looks just like yours.  Now when I press a rating number a few times, the app arbitrarily decides to show another image in the preview image.  If I press zero a few times to remove a rating, it jumps around and shows some other file in the preview window.  This is crazy shit.

OK, in the Keyboard shortcut window there are TWO identical looking places that show the rating and label keystrokes.  I needed to fix both locations and now it is working.  One place is Application/Label and the other is Review Window/Labels & Ratings.

Thanks.  I’ve been using Bridge forever and I’ve always had to just use one key, until now.  I never created custom shortcuts.  I’ll set them up.

This is not new by any means and nothing to do with the latest update. You need to create keyboard shortcuts. Here is the solution from two years ago:
