Question

Keyword Alphabetical Listings.

I am having endless trouble with KEYWORDS. At the moment I have created several keywords with sub keywords. One of the keywords is Wildlife. Rather foolishly I created a sub keyword under Wildlife. This sub word was Birds and that sub word contains many sub-sub keywords.

I thought it better to move the Birds keyword out of Wildlife, so I renamed it Wildlife Birds and dragged it out of Wildlife. So far so good.

But now, Wildlife Birds is the number one keyword, listed above all others, non alphabeticaly.

That is Wildlife Birds comes above Aviation, Antarctica, etc. etc. I cannot drag it to below the still exisiting Wildlife Keyword folder.

How do I get it to take its proper alphabetical place, please?

Don't try to rearrange Keywords by drag and drop.

However, to fix your current problem, drag the sub keyword to the desired parent. They will auto order alphabetically.

Thank you for your reply, sadly too late. the problem came about because I
had already dragged a sub keyword out of its parent and I was trying to get
it into an alphabetical listing as a parent itself.
I still don't know how to do that, or what alternative there is to drag and
drop.

Delete and create a new parent keyword.
