Label Colours in Adobe Bridge

Hello everyone

This is probably a simple easy fix however I cant find it, and I really hope someone can help....

Mac user

My recent PS had to be reinstalled  (corrupt Mac update) ..

Using Bridge I was able to press 6 on the image and it went to red, 7 yellow, 8 green etc..  however with the re-install I am having to use the command key and then pressing the relevant number to chance the colour for the label. 

I have searched and spent hours looking for the information to resolve this to no avail.... 

Can anyone help what I need to do to make it just one key?  - as it stands I have command & relevant number to change it,  I know it sound petty but its quite annoying.
