Labels and Ratings

Adobe FINALLY fixed some of the issues when Version 13.0.4 was released, and has put back the ability to have multiple windows.  Thank you.

     HOWEVER

In Version 14.0.0 the ability to label and rate photos has been changed.  WHY??  In many, many previous versions of Bridge there was a check box "Use Ctrl for Labels & Ratings" at the botton of the content window.  That no longer is there - and I have been unable to change the very confusing custom keyboard settings to get that back.  ADOBE - WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO US??

Can anyone advise a work around so I can just press a key 1-9 for labels and ratings?

    I have to agree that the removal of that little checkbox is most annoying. The only solution I have found is to force oneself to master the new custom shortcuts and create your own for keys 0 through 9. That, of course, means creating ten custom shortcuts rather than ticking one little box! It can be done, yes I managed it grudgingly.

      Completely agree. 

       

      While I strongly approve of the Bridge team adding keyboard shortcuts to Bridge, it's really sad they made something that was simple, overly complex (from what it was), and required one to do it ten times.

        I failed to mention I am referring to a Windows 10 version.  The labels and ratings work fine on my MacBook Pro.
