Lost tagging in Bridge

Since the recent Adobe updates, all my previous tagging Bridge has disappeared. I've tried installing the previous version of bridge [2017] but that didn't help.

I have windows 10. Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge CC.

I appreciate any assistance toward restoring what I had.

    Hi msbrad,

    Please allow Bridge CC 2018  to generate cache for your files.Once cache has been generated, tagging done in Bridge CC 2017 should get reflected in Bridge CC 2018 as well.

    After restarting, and using Bridge 2017 - tagging returned [thankfully]. How do I get the tagging to the newest 2018 version?
