Main page freezes with pop-up message

I am experiencing this same problem like last year where the screen freezes because a pop-up appears saying "the operation could not be completed" and when restarting Bridge the same message appears right away. I have had this same issue last year for several months and stopped using it..

OS system drivers, app issues with windows registry

 

You can try running a system check SFC/ Scannow from a elevsted windows command prompt.

Also Try R-click "run as administrator" at Bridge icon properties

Which exact version of Bridge (Bridge>About Bridge) are you running? What is your system specification?

Can you please let us know the steps you are doing in Bridge causing this error?

Did you remove an external hard drive that might be listed in favorites?

Please uninstall Bridge, Reboot and Re-Install the latest version and try and see if it helps.
