Manually Sorting / Reordering Keywords w/in the Assigned Keywords list in Adobe Bridge

After much researching and even calling Adobe, with no solutions, I cannot figure out how to manually sort/reorder keywords within my Assigned Keywords list in Adobe Bridge. I'd like a customized and streamlined workflow instead of using the default alphabetized keywords. Alphabetizing keywords isn't helpful to a workflow if kewords are not already next to each other alphabetically. Adobe Support wanted me to number each keyword in the order I wanted them and I had to explain how that is not helpful for writing keywords to metadata or searching. Bridge won't allow me to reorder or drag them where needed. Is this possible?

This is not possible. You would have to do custom scripting with keywords and essentially recreate the keywords panel to organize them non-alphabetically.

This is unfortunate and seems like an oversight from Adobe, especially for an asset management application. Keywording and metadata management are some of it's strong suits, so this definitely throws a wrench in projects where assigning hundreds of keywords is necessary. Bridge allows users to manually sort files easily so it seems that manually sorting a keyword list would be comparibly simple yet a powerful tool for developing more robust and efficient workflows. Appreciate the response.

Have you seen how many problems the Bridge team is having just getting a functional app out the door? Performance is shaky, the app is buggy, and there are all sorts of glaring holes in the basic feature set- no system share sheets, no cloud storage integration, no recent video and stills formats, no tablet/phone version, the list goes on and on.

I'll just put it this way- don't hold your breath.
