Question

Media cache file location change to prevent SSD to get full

Years ago I had to stop my subscription to adobe products because various app didn't allow me to change media cache file which rendered my hard drive useless because of all the space taken.

Years after, today, I install bridge and quickly my hard drive gets full because of media cache file.

I check the preferences.

Is it a bad dream, or it is still NOT possible to define the location of the media cache file of bridge (on mac)?

Its the same media cache that Lightroom uses, so you can change it there. Or if you don't have Lightroom, try changing the actual plist file.

/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.bridge<version>.plist
