Missing files after batch renaming in bridge

HELP

Im new to bridge and I just batch renamed 78 images and now they are all missing but 5. How do I find them? They were put into a collection first from a shared album. Then I renamed once and it seemed fine then I added a few more and tried to rename again and the computer froze. When I rebooted, it's telling me 75 are missing I have no idea where they are. 
can anyone explain how to fix?
