More Bridge 2023 folder order issues

My (Windows) folder naming convention was to have the most important and frequently accessed folders named starting with an underscore.  Prior to the update to 2023, these were listed first.  Now they appear under folders starting with a number.  The same goes for filenames, which is another buggeration factor.

Thank you, Adobe!  I nearly cr4pped myself when I thought tens of folders containing thousands of files had disappeared!

I can't see anything that will enable me to revert to the previous listing order.

Why?  Why?  Why?

Hi,

The mentioned issue is fixed in the latest patch release #13.0.1.583. Please install and confirm if that fixes the issue.
You can refer to the issues fixed in the patch at the following link https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/fixed-issues.html

Thanks,

This is curious because the underscore should appear before numbers and characters whether you are on a Mac or a PC. My Mac is showing the correct behavior.

Could you please check which direction this arrow is facing? Up or down?

Thanks, please let us know.

That arrow has no effect on the order in the Folders panel.  It only affects the display in the Content panel.
