movie files in Bridge

Hi everyone,

I have Adobe Bridge 2021 installed on a Macbook Air (13 inch, early 2015), running on macOS Catalina, version 10.15.7.

Recently I began working with video files, and for me the best place to organize and view the video files would be in Adobe Bridge as I'm used to this. However, Bridge does not run properly when trying to view and organize video files. Thumbnails does not generate (even for smaller files), navigation takes a really long time, and Bridge freezes all the time.

Can someone please advice me on what to do to make it work?

Otherwise, what software would you recommend to view and organise video files?

I didn't seem to find what I was looking for in Adobe Media Encoder or Prelude. 

Please help!
