multiple image upload

I cannot open multiple images from bridge into photoshop. if it is one image ok but if i select more than one image it takes me back to bridge. is it a setting or a bug from the new update? my platform is MAC

Thank you for identifying you're on a Mac; what OS are you running?

 

I'm on a Mac (Studio) running 12.6, and when I select 2 (or more) jpgs and double-click them, they all open in PS. Similarly, if I select 2 (or more) jpgs and tap Command-o, they open as well as selecting "Open" from the file menu. 

 

What kind of images are you opening?
