My photos disappeared

Hello, 

Having a panic. I favourited a bunch of photos using the star rating in camera raw, then in Bridge, I selected create new folder with selected images and the folder never appeared and these photos have GONE. I checked the recycling bin, I checked the original folder and I'm just so confused - does anyone know where they could've gone??
