Question

Need full screen preview in Adobe Bridge to have a more adjustable zoom function!

I like to review my retouch work in Adobe Bridge so I can scroll through my pages consecutively while they are displayed in fit to page size on the screen - BUT - there are times when I want to zoom into a certain section of the particular page to view small details without having to reopen the file in photoshop.

If i try to zoom it just makes the image ridiculously large and I wind up having to revert back to the regular view. To see the actual small details have to re-open the page in photoshop.

Can you please address this issue?

I see many people would like a more controlled zoom function in the Bridge full screen preview mode.

Either a hot key combo (Ctrl+ or Ctrl -) or perhaps a mouse scrolling option?

Others have suggested there is a way to set the mouse scrolling option - but I tried those suggestions and it does not work for me.

Would love to be able to use my TourBox to zoom in and out in full screen preview mode. '

It would bea a total time saver if I could review the details on a page without having to re-open every page individually in Photoshop and make me truly love Bridge if you could add this feature.

Thanks

I don't use Bridge frequently so was curious to test the zoom functions, and this is what I found in my Windows system:

Pressing [Spacebar] shows an image in Full screen,

Pressing [+] increases zoom in increments   FullScreen > 100% > 200% > 300% ...

Pressing [-] decreases zoom in increments   ... 300% > 200% > 100% > FullScreen

My Mouse Scroll wheel also zooms by the increments as does [+] [-].

A mouse [Left-Click] will zoom FullScreen > 100% -the image zooms centrally on the position of the cursor., and [Left-Click] again goes 100% > FullScreen -   Ideally you should be checking 'detail' at 100%.

With the [Caps Lock] 'on' the zooming function zooms in/out with a slow pan action.

I agree it could be better to zoom at any % with the scroll wheel instead of the fixed increments.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

Thanks will check those functions out.

usually when I hit Ctrl + to zoom just once when in full screen preview - it brings me waaaaaaay to far zoomed in. and its useless to me.

I would love to be able to draw a marquee and zoom into an area while in bridge somehow -  But perhaps it's asking too much.

But thanks for the reply.
