New bug in Bridge 9.1.0.338

In the latest version of Bridge, when you delete a file by either highlighting it and hitting Delete, or right clicking and selecting Move to Trash, it deletes the file, but then does not select and highlight the next image in line. So, you have to actually move the cursor and select the next image. It's a big annoyance and a time waster.

Also, you still haven't addressed:

1. In Batch Rename, if you copy and paste in a long file name, you can use arrow keys to scroll into the part of the name that's not initially in the dialog box, but the text no longer moves to show you where you've moved the cursor to.

2. In Output, you STILL can't paste in the file name when selecting Export to PDF. This is literally something you can do in every other application developed in the last couple of decades.

I've previously reported both of the above by email to one of the developers. Sorry Adobe, but it's like you're not even trying anymore.

Oh, AND if you delete a file in Bridge and then hit undo, a completely random older file comes back, not the one you just deleted. This application, that many professionals rely on as an intregal part of their workflow, a complete mess.

    Hi,

The "next file highlight on delete" issue has been addressed in v10.0 which will be released early next month.

If you need early access to this release, you can sign up for the prerelease program from https://adobeprerelease.com under NDA.

Select Adobe Bridge. Once we approve your request, you will be able to download v10.0 (choose the latest drop).

Please check this build and report back.

    Thanks,

Thank you Varun. I was already a prerelease member, so I downloaded v10. It does fix that one problem, but there's a new very serious omission in that version. I tried to post about it in the prerelease discussion board, but got a Gate-way timeout message. Can you contact me please, to discuss it?

Can you tell me what version you're referring to when you say Bridge 2020? In Creative Cloud, I see versions 9.1, 7.0 and 8.1. Is it perhaps a prerelease, or a PC only version? And do you mean none of the issues I mention happen in the version you refer to?
