Hi @bertvegter if you are on Windows this wonderful script from @Erik Bloodaxe worked for me, just tested on Bridge 16.0.1: Bridge Map view plug in or extension? - Adobe Product Community - 14952198

Hi,

No, Bridge is not on Windows and actually I'm not so interested in a map plug in.

In fact: I have the latest Lightroom Classic in Windows in virtual machine-mode on my iMac. That is because my MacOS is a little bit too old for the latest LR Classic.

But, LR Classic is somewhat slow in Windows, so I turned to Bridge in MacOS.

Bridge doesn't have a Map module.

Thanks for your reaction. Actually I don't exactly know what you mean by 'Map module'. If you mean that I can see on a map where the picture was taken, then I'm not interested in that. I only want to see in IPTC Core the name of the location and the country where I made that photo, just like in Lightroom Classic.

Strange enough I have some pictures in my ca. 40.000 photos in Bridge where IPTC Core shows the location and country... Even pictures made years ago with an iPhone 6.

I have a lot of photos made by my iPhone 12 Pro. In IPTC Core I only can see the GPS coordinates...

You can configure Bridge to display, in the Metadata Panel, any/all of IPTC, IPTC Core and IPTC Extension metadata by going to Preferences>Metadata and scrolling down to the IPTC metadata fields.

Not sure that this is what you are looking for.
