No Preview in Bridge

I have downloaded CS3 Beta to my main computer and my laptop (so I can test when away from base). My laptop does not show any image when you click on the film strip. I have JPEG and RAW files on the computer, but now way can I preview them. My main computer is ok. I have even tried completely removing the CS3 programme and carrying out a re-installation. I have other issues but need to sort this first. I am using PC's and XP Pro on both computers. I have tried to upgrade, just in case any new versions have been sent out. As soon as I click on update, I get the window error box. Both my computers are showing version 2.0.0.734 (115012). Any help would be appreciated.

I had exactly the same issue with my Sony Vaio desktop PC running XP.

The fix is to go to edit, preferences, advanced. Tick the Use Software Rendering box. Quit and restart Bridge.

Are Adobe aware of this problem?
