No video preview when Bridge not in focus

When viewing video files in Bridge and then move focus to another application or even click on desktop, Bridge will stop showing current video frame and rewind to the beginning. This behaviour is really illogical and completely counter intuitive. Especially when working with multiple clips trying to find specific points within them.

And it neither displays time under the video...

Even free and lightweight media viewers  like fastone will keep displaying videos either playing them or paused on current frame when not in focus!
Any solutions for Bridge?
