Noise in PDF output from Bridge

Hi All,

I've noticed a funny thing that's happened perhaps with one of the updates over the past few months. When I export a PDF from Bridge, at 300 dpi at highest quality (lowest compression) I'm getting noise in my thumbnail images. Thinking I might be nuts, I checked a PDF from a couple of months ago. No Noise. I output the same images again, now there is noise. There is no "add noise" checkbox I'm overlooking I don't think. Anyone else noticing this? It's really annoying. I output images to show my clients and don't want any more degradation in quality than I have to have. I'm running 9.0.2.219 – thanks!

Perhaps try purging the cache. The following Adobe page has lots of info and explains the different kinds of purges that can be done…

Work with the Adobe Bridge cache

Thanks for the suggestion – that did not work. I've now output on another computer also running the newest version of Bridge and it's doing the same so it seems it's this version. I'd try to work with an older version but I don't know at which point it started. It's pretty subtle, but I'm sure it has to annoy others too.

You mentioned wanting to work on an older version of Bridge. In case you didn't know, these are very easy to install from the Creative Cloud app.
