Open Bridge Stack in Photoshop 2021 and Run Action

Can a Bridge script open a two image stack in photoshop and then run a Photoshop action?
Save and close the photoshop file and open the next stack from a Bride stack collection.

The photoshop action copies a layer from the target psd file to the destination psd file.
The destination file is a layered psd file with layer groups.
The target file is a psd file with one transparent layer.
