open in camera raw missing for HEIC on windows

It has been some time since HEIC support was added to photoshop and camera raw for windows, and recently also added to Bridge. But still we cannot change the camera raw preferences to edit both jpeg, heic and tiffs with camera raw, nor right click an heic file and open it via camera raw.

The only way to do so is to open up each image in photoshop and then open them in camera raw. Good luck when you have hundreds of images...
